    Yeah, in my mind it defeats the whole purpose of limiting yourself to their marketplace. If giving the book away for free isn’t going to create a boost in paid sales, you may as well be selling your book EVERYWHERE you can.

    • Hey Brian – I’m being proven a little wrong…sales are nearing 100 two days after the sale (I know others are used to 1,000’s). But I’m happy I’m getting out of Select, at least for now. With all the diversity out there–Wattpad, Kobo, Hubpages, Scribd, Smashwords–it’s hard to believe we can’t find a wider readership by casting the net wide.
