Click to buy on Amazon for just $4.99!

I’m incredibly excited to announce that my debut crime fiction novel, A Reason to Live, is out and available both for the Kindle and in print from Createspace and Amazon!

Read the synopsis at the end of this post to learn more about the story. But be sure to check out the special offer for blog subscribers and friends!

Where can I get it?
A Reason to Live is available on Amazon for the Kindle ($4.99) and in print from both my Createspace store and directly through Amazon (both $14.99).

It will be available for all other formats by September, but don’t forget you can download free Kindle readers for nearly every phone, computer, tablet, and digital device on the planet.

Will there be contests or special offers?
Yes! I’d like to extend a special offer for blog subscribers and friends. If you buy A Reason to Live now and help me get it off the ground with ratings and reviews, I’d like to thank you with the following rewards (not cumulative):

  • At least one review at any of the sites below
For every site on which you’ve reviewed A Reason to Live from the list below, choose one of any of my short titles (via Smashwords coupon): Three Shorts, Three the Hard Way, Three on a Match, Three of a Kind; (Kindle gift) Sword of Kings, Assassin, Seven into the Bleak; or (direct file .pdf, .mobi. or .epub) the brand new Telling Your Tale: A Beginner’s Guide to Novel Writing.

So, if you review ARTL on two sites, pick two titles; if you review on three sites, pick three titles.

  • Friend me on Goodreads, follow me on Twitter + review on all four of the sites below
eCopy of one bad twelve via Smashwords coupon or your choice of four of the above titles.

Please email me with the username you use for your review on the particular site so I know to reward you!

I read it and want to review it. Where do I go?
Thanks in advance for reviews and ratings; indie authors couldn’t survive without them! (Reviews and ratings apply to both print and digital editions…no need to do two.)

Synopsis

In the late nineties, a bad cop killed a good woman and DC Homicide detective Marty Singer got to watch as the murderer walked out of the courtroom a free man.

Twelve years later, the victim’s daughter comes to Marty begging for help: the killer is stalking her now.

There’s just one problem: Marty’s retired…and he’s retired because he’s battling cancer. But with a second shot at the killer–and a first chance at redemption–Marty’s just found A Reason to Live.

A Reason to Live is a full length novel of 88,000 words and includes an excerpt from the second book in the Marty Singer series, Blueblood, due out in Summer 2012.

This is a moment that’s been a long time coming and I have a lot of people to thank for getting met this far. You can read just how many in the Acknowledgements section at the back of the book.  🙂

But I also want to thank you, the followers and visitors of this blog, for reading, commenting, and participating in my writing career. It’s what makes things like releasing a novel a real pleasure…and keeps me wanting to do more.
